What we collect

• Account data: an anonymous device identifier created on first launch; email and display name only if you register.
• Viewing data: which episodes you watch and your playback position (this powers resume and recommendations), items on your list, votes, poll choices, and emoji reactions.
• Purchase data: store transaction identifiers, products purchased, and your coin balance. We never see or store your payment card; payments are processed by Apple or Google.
• Campaign context: if you arrive from a promotional link, the campaign and referring creator associated with that link, used to credit creators for subscriptions.
• Settings you provide: preferences such as auto-unlock and, where you use age-gated features, your confirmation of being 18+ (on iOS, via Apple's Declared Age Range where available — we receive a category, not a birthdate).

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not run third-party advertising inside the app.
• We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or photos.
• Coins cannot be cashed out, so we hold no payout details for viewers.

How we use data

To operate the service (playback, resume, entitlements, wallet), to credit creators for subscriptions attributable to their audience, to send new-episode notifications for series you follow (controllable in Settings), to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Sharing

Service providers under contract (cloud hosting, content delivery, payment verification with Apple/Google), and authorities where legally required. Aggregated, de-identified statistics (e.g., view counts) are shown in the app.

Retention & deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account in Settings permanently removes your profile, viewing history, list, votes, reactions, wallet, and notifications; transaction records required for financial compliance are retained in de-identified or legally mandated form.

Your rights

Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Exercise them in-app (Settings → Delete account) or by contacting us. Children

ReeledIn is not directed to children under 13, and age-gated features require adult confirmation. If we learn we hold a child's personal data we will delete it.
